Description
The Chenin Blanc grape variety originally came from the Loire Valley but now is grown all over the world. Always fresh and fruity it is hugely versatile. Different terroir and wine making approaches can produce very different results – from zingy aperitifs to wines with complexity that work perfectly with food. And if that wasn’t good enough news, it always offers incredible value.
For our special wine dinner we’ll be introducing you to old world and new world Chenins made in a variety of styles. We’ll start with a sparkling wine, finish with a sweet wine and then try four different wines with our savoury courses. Once you’ve enjoyed our delicious dinner – guided by our sommelier Emma Findlayson – you’ll be able to zero in on excellent and affordable summer whites on any wine list or retailer’s shelf.
