We’re lucky enough to be in one of London’s greenest villages. On three sides we’re surrounded by river and on the other by the wild and beautiful Barnes Common.
The Common is looked after by a local team of volunteers – The Friends of Barnes Common – who preserved its rare acid grassland and keep it free from litter and invasive non native species.
As well as their conservation work they run a wonderful initiative teaching nursery age children all about the value of planting and harvesting your own food.
We’ve named our Little Sprouts menu in honour of their very special educational programme and will be donating £2.00 to the Friends of Barnes Common for every menu we sell.
